How long is a session? 

A session is one hour long.

What is age group for the classes? 

Classes are offered to children aged 7 and above and adults.

What will the students learn in the class?

The students will learn different application techniques of acrylic painting, watercolor, oil painting, charcoal and pencil sketching. A wide range of themes will be covered including floral, animals, birds, patterns, still life, landscape, portraits, etc. Students will be given choices of visuals.

What materials will I need?

The student will have to purchase a basic set of material for the class. I will provide a list of materials needed for the medium that the student would be learning in advance. 

How do group classes work?

Group classes are generally 2-4 in size with each student receiving individual attention. Students are given material and exercises based on their own level, skill & progress. They are not expected to keep pace with others or follow a uniform curriculum.

What if a registration period has started, and I have missed classes, should I still join/start?

Yes absolutely; classes are grouped into 'sessions' for convenience of advanced payment and registration. There is no fixed schedule for the curriculum taught, and any student of any level can join anytime.

How long does it take for the students to finish one painting?

It generally takes about two sessions to complete one painting. It depends on the complexity of the painting and the student’s skill level and speed. 

How do I pay for the classes?

You can pay by zelle or paypal.

What if I miss a group class I've already paid for?

If the student is unable to attend a class, they should let the instructor know at least 24 hours in advance. In such a case, a credit will be provided for a future class. Otherwise, there is no refund, credit or make-up option.

If the instructor has to cancel a class due to any reason, she will try to provide advance notice and the student will be credited for a future class.
